*LOVERS IN THE SKY*

O, Moon! where and when should I search for you

To have a glance of thy gracious face?

Why should thou, today, look so pale in colour,

Without showering cool light on earth's floor?

Are thou having any pain in your mind,

Which neither I nor any can easily find?

But I, being an innocent child of heaven,

Can, at least, guess why thou shouldst be so.

Thou art in love with the great lord Sun,

Who looks at others as things that are fun.

When thou do appear in the sky with grace,

He doth vanish completely from thy sight.

Thy search for him at last makes thee cheated,

Which results in thy face getting pale coated.

If thou stayest with sorrow in thy home,

He doth drive in the sky to spread his fame.

I do feel so sorry for thy state

That I am eager to do a lot.

Shall I take you to his castle to meet him?

For, I know well where and when he stays.

Or, shall I bring him before thy shining thy palace?

What should I do for thy sake, tell! Tell me.
